Women's "Springtime Sweet Re-Leaf" Event

CPC ladies and daughters, please join us for a time of renewed sweet fellowship and relaxation as we gather together to catch up and enjoy each other’s company at Jennifer Cheng’s home and beautiful gardens in Guilford (1399 West Street). We look forward in anticipation to this springtime opportunity to reconnect and support one another in person. Small vases and shears will be provided for each of us to cut and arrange colorful flowers from Jennifer’s extensive gardens into our donated vases that we can take home to enjoy. We will be serving an array of appetizers, finger foods, desserts and beverages. If you would like to contribute a food item, please contact Karen Peck at kitkaren@optonline.net. Join us for a Spirit-filled liturgical experience of grace-centered worship. All are welcome to attend worship. In order to allow more people to attend, we will be using both the Sanctuary and a re-imagined worship space in the Fellowship Hall (with a direct audio/video feed of the sanctuary on a big screen). Per order of Governor Lamont under Phase 2.1 (with updated guidelines as of 5/19/21) regarding religious gatherings, we will operate at full capacity with mask requirements per vaccination status (see our Covid-19 protocols). - CPC Outdoors Hike
CPC Outdoors Hike

On Saturday, June 19, please join CPC Outdoors for a hike at the Sleeping Giant State Park. Located in Hamden, CT, the Sleeping Giant Tower trail is a well-maintained, easy trail suitable for most people, including children 12 and older. The 3.2 mile loop is level, wide, uphill, and covered in gravel. See https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/connecticut/tower-trail. Highlights will include the old quarry bed and the three-story castle lookout at the turn. Meet no later than 9:15am at the Sleeping Giant State Park parking lot (across from Quinnipiac University), and enjoy the outdoors and some fellowship. We are also looking for two readers for secular and scriptural inspiration at the outset of the hike and at the turn.
