  • Congregational Meeting
    Congregational Meeting

    12:00pm – 1:00pm

The Ruling Elders of CPC have announced that based upon the recommendation of the Pastoral Search Advisory Committee (PSAC), they are nominating the Rev. Craig Luekens as our next Senior Pastor. As for next steps, consistent with our Book of Church Order, the congregation must vote in favor of a candidate before the church can extend a call. In the case of an internal candidate such as Craig, the Book of Church Order requires a different procedure and a higher standard: the vote must be by secret ballot, carry by four-fifths (4/5) majority, and be ratified by Presbytery by a three-fourths (3/4) majority vote. The session has called a congregational meeting on Sunday, June 4, after the worship service for this purpose. All members of CPC are invited to attend a special congregational meeting after worship, in order to vote on a motion to call Rev. Craig Luekens as the next Senior Pastor of CPC. Learn More
