Worship Service
10:30am – 12:00pm
Join us for a Spirit-filled liturgical experience of grace-centered worship. Consistent with New Haven policy, as of 3/7/22, masks are optional at CPC for everyone regardless of vaccination status (including children). The Downstairs Sanctuary is reserved for those who would like to wear a mask during Sunday worship (you may also choose to wear one upstairs of course). In the spirit of Christian charity, please respect each others’ choices and each others’ safety in the event that you are experiencing symptoms. You may also stream the service live online here. CPC is located at 135 Whitney Ave, New Haven, at the corner of Bradley St. and Whitney Ave. right next to the Yale School of Management. Learn More
- Leadership Celebration
Leadership Celebration
12:00pm – 1:00pm
On this Sunday we celebrate all of the leaders at CPC who serve in various ways - from Sunday School Teachers to Team Leaders and Board Members. Kids, consider taking a moment to write a special note of thanks to your Sunday School teacher this year. Join us for a celebration cake after worship. Learn More
- Congregational Meeting
Congregational Meeting
12:00pm – 1:00pm
The Ruling Elders of CPC have announced that based upon the recommendation of the Pastoral Search Advisory Committee (PSAC), they are nominating the Rev. Craig Luekens as our next Senior Pastor. As for next steps, consistent with our Book of Church Order, the congregation must vote in favor of a candidate before the church can extend a call. In the case of an internal candidate such as Craig, the Book of Church Order requires a different procedure and a higher standard: the vote must be by secret ballot, carry by four-fifths (4/5) majority, and be ratified by Presbytery by a three-fourths (3/4) majority vote. The session has called a congregational meeting on Sunday, June 4, after the worship service for this purpose. All members of CPC are invited to attend a special congregational meeting after worship, in order to vote on a motion to call Rev. Craig Luekens as the next Senior Pastor of CPC. Learn More
